is a great bicycle path which runs 20+ miles in both directions and can be
accessed directly in front of the cabin. |
| Fishing in
Pine Creek is great for trout in the early season and bass as the water
warms. The Slate Run Tackle Shop and
General Store is 8 miles south of the cabin and a great place for
fishing supplies and things you may need while your visiting the area. |
| Hunting on State land is easily accessible and can be enjoyed in the
spring for turkey and in the late fall for deer season. |
| Golf can be played in Wellsboro at Tyoga
Country Club. It is a four star Golf Digest course and tee times should
be made before taking the 35 minute trip. |
| Wellsboro is the closest place
to shop. It is a great tourist town with grocery stores, antique stores, and
several restaurants. The Soldiers and Sailors hospital will be on your left
on the way in town if the need arises. |
| The Steak House, owned by
Christy and Geoff Coffee your hosts at Eagle Bend Lodge, is open at 5 pm for dinners
and reservations should be made in advance. |
| Night Life is pretty quiet in this area. Lounges can be found in
Slate Run, Blackwell, Morris, or Wellsboro. |
| Hiking Trails are very scenic in the area. West Rim Trail, 30 miles
in Tioga State Forest, Tioga County. This trail is accessible from
Rattlesnake Rock parking area 1 mile north of the cabin. |

best place to check on Rafting and other Pine Creek adventures. They are
located in Ansonia, PA apx. 45 minutes from Eagle Bend Lodge. |
