RESERVATION POLICY:

$200.00 deposit required to reserve date requested.

Requested dates will be held l0 days pending receipt of deposit.

Reservations will be confirmed by e-mail

or US mail upon receipt of your deposit.

Rental agreement will be sent to you with confirmation.

Balance of payment and signed rental agreement due 14 days prior to arrival.

We accept personal checks, money orders, cash or credit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancellation notice is received 2 months or more prior to reservation date - all monies paid will be refunded

2 months to 14 days prior to reservation date - all monies except $200.00 deposit will be refunded. If we are able to fill the vacant time period the deposit will be refunded.

Less than 14 days prior to reservation date - all money received will be forfeited unless we are able to fill the vacant time period.

POLICIES & RESTRICTIONS

Maximum of 10 guests may occupy the lodge.

The cabin is strictly non smoking.

No pets are permitted on the property.

You are responsible for the cost of replacing any missing or broken furnishing.

No weapons of any kind are to be used on the cabin property.

The person signing the rental contract must be 18 years of age and must be in the rental party.

GUESTS RESPONSIBILITIES

Guests are expected to maintain the cabin in the same condition that they find it. Cleaning and laundry supplies are provided.

The cabin is situated on 1 acre of land. All properties bordering the cabin are private property. Please respect the privacy of our neighbors.

You will receive 2 keys (1 in the mail and 1 will be inside the cabin). Please lock the door and leave both keys on the kitchen counter when you depart at the end of your stay.

Please report any broken or malfunctioning appliances, electrical equipment, heating or cooling equipment immediately so we can have them repaired.

Keep all garbage in the can provided with a lid on it. 5 miles to the South is the Brown Township Dumpster where the garbage should be taken daily or at least every other day.

                          Please remove all garbage to the Brown Township Dumpster at the end of your stay.

Please do not feed the animals. Wild animals cannot be trusted. Remember, you are "in nature". Use caution around wild animals that travel across our property to their feeding grounds.

CABIN AND LAWN MAINTENANCE

Although we try to perform maintenance on the cabin and lawn when unoccupied, the lawn may need mowing during your stay. We will call in advance and let you know if this becomes necessary.

 

PERSONAL LIABILITY

You are responsible for proper supervision of all children in your party. This is a great area for biking, swimming, fishing, hunting, boating and hiking. The proper licensing, supervision and safety gear are your responsibility.

Emergency #’s are posted beside the telephone for your convenience.

Our decks were constructed with safety in mind. However, the railings are not to be used as seats and children should be properly supervised at all times.

Fire wood is provided for use in the fire pit only. All fires are to be strictly supervised by an adult. Be sure the fire is completely out before leaving it unattended. In the case of a burn ban, a notice will be posted at the cabin and no fires are to be built.
